A Natural Summer Elopement at Natural Bridge State Park

Elopements are becoming more common on the East Coast and boy oh boy am I happy about it! There are so many amazing destinations to choose to elope but for this sweet couple, they chose one of Virginia’s world wonders for their adventure, the Natural Bridge!!

Although it was scorchingly hot and we were all dripping with sweat, Cory & Samantha looked ravishing as they confessed their love and danced on rocks under the bridge’s beauty. Their sweet and simple ceremony included the exchanging of rings, shots of Jägermeister and a captivating first kiss surrounded by four of their closest friends who are more like family! Having traveled from Ohio for their small occasion, we dodged around small crowds to make these gorgeous moments come to life but I can’t blame them for standing in our way, staring in awe of this gorgeous wonder! The unquestioning trust and the profound love these two share for each other made time stand still. Celebrations like this remind us all the small moments, they are the ones that mean the most.

After their Virginia elopement in the Blue Ridge Mountains, they traveled back home and threw a party to celebrate their union with their friends & families. Because their unconventional ceremony was breath-taking, we were able to get them their pictures back in time to share with their party guests on a jumbotron! So whether you’re traditional or not, your day is all about you and how you want it! In a ballroom or in a cliff, in a church or under a bridge, we’ll make it happen!
