Romantic Mountain Engagement

You don't need us to tell you, but these two are as adorable as they come. For their first engagement session we ventured up to Black Balsam Knob but mother nature had other plans and the weather ended up giving them fog when they wanted beautiful mountain views. We were able to get some slightly more moody images with the added fog, but it felt like we missed out on what they were hoping for. We told them immediately after their engagement session that we wanted to take them up one more time to get some vibrant sunset images like they were wanting.

On the day of their next session, it ended up raining again!! We looked at the radar and switched it up last minute to Craggy Gardens (completely opposite side of the parkway) and we got there just in time for the beautiful light and perfect sunset! We were glad Morgan switched up her dress too, because the red of her dress played perfectly off of the tones we were getting in the sky. It was one of those engagements that we wouldn't help but make all the "omg" noises as we were shooting lol.
